Baked feta pasta is a trend that became popular on TikTok. The premise behind the recipe is that you take cherry tomatoes, any seasoning you like along with a block of feta cheese, and bake it in the oven to create a rustic, creamy tomato sauce. Millions and millions of people have made this and loved it. If you don’t believe me, go ahead and look up #bakedfetapasta. You might be shocked by the volume of what you see.
If you love feta cheese, then you are for sure going to love this. I am not one to jump on trends, but now I am questioning why I waited so long. It’s super easy to make, even for a complete novice in the kitchen.
Baked Feta Pasta Ingredients
You will need 1-2 cups of cherry tomatoes
1 block of feta cheese (or use crumbles if you can’t find the block)
Olive oil, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, or any other seasoning you want to add
Add in garlic or onion if you want
Baked for 30 minutes on 350 in the oven
Mix together and top with your favorite pasta shape.
If you are looking for a healthier alternative to pasta, I suggest using zoodles or spaghetti squash. Both work really well in this sauce and are nutritious as well.
